The Baking Expo (IBIE) in Las Vegas 2016 closes

According to the organizers, the American Bakers Association (ABA) and the Baking Equipment Manufacturers and Allied (BEMA), more than 23,000 baking professionals attended IBIE this year. New products were launched, great ideas were born and creativity and innovation took center stage.

IBIE provides access to the tools, technologies and resources needed to maximize success in the baking business.

Rick Parrish, Director of Sales & Marketing at Franz Haas Machinery of America, commented: "We're accustomed to seeing international visitors at IBIE, mainly from South America. I was delighted to also see attendees from the Middle East and Europe in Las Vegas this time."

"We had a large Haas Group team at our IBIE booth this year. Prior to the show, we spent one day in training in order to prepare ourselves for our visitors," Rick Parrish explained. "The aim of the training sessions was to provide sufficient technical data to all members of the team, enabling every person to explain all of the showcased equipment. This ensured that any visitor would receive proper attention and comprehensive information at all times."

"Our wire cutter was certainly the focus at IBIE this year. In view to hygiene regulations, we exhibited our newly designed wire cutter with advanced cleaning features. "The Haas Inno Lab was a further great success, with customers from all parts of the food industry coming to the booth to sample the great variety of flavors and textures of the wafer products we had to offer. The wonderful fragrance of the freshly baked goods produced on our rolled wafer stick oven during our live baking demonstrations really proved irresistible to visitors passing by," Rick Parrish added.

"I must say that IBIE 2016 was a great success. The interaction with our visitors, the positive feedback from our regular customers and the opportunity to meet possible new customers were all very rewarding. Thanks to everyone who came to see us during IBIE. We hope that they returned home with many positive impressions of the Haas Group and our offerings to the industry," Rick Parrish said.

We hope all of our visitors had a great show and looking forward to see you soon at one of our next shows.
