Ready, set, go - Preparing for interpack 2017

interpack 2017 has recorded the biggest exhibitor demand in its over 55-year history, announced the organizers, Messe Duesseldorf. At interpack 2017, the spotlight will be the presentation of new applications in the technology sector. The Haas Group will be exhibiting its latest offerings.

 

Thomas Breg, global marketing manager at Haas said: "The interpack exhibition has a particular significance for Haas because it is where the industry presents its latest achievements. We prepare our participation very carefully and develop innovative technology in tandem with the exhibition's triennial cycle."

The exceptional Haas booth was already enlarged by an additional 300 sqm in 2011 in order to accommodate all the exhibits. More than 1,400 working hours are invested in interpack preparations, including the booth, the organization, and all the other arrangements. More than a few thousand working hours combined are invested by all the Haas business units to develop the equipment that is finally exhibited at the show.

"Our major concern is to provide our visitors with inspiration and information; i.e. to supply all facts relevant to their buying decision as well as to offer proper guidance and consultation. Our booth staff will be made up of 120 experts from our offices around the globe, meaning that an ideal company contact will be available for whichever country the visitor is from. And by 120 Haas staff I mean more than 1,000 years of total experience and expertise," Thomas Breg emphasized.

The reception area will certainly be one of the largest front desks at the show. We want to have as many staff as possible available in order to attend to arriving visitors quickly and efficiently. After all, more than 150 products from around the globe are shown.

 

"In total, over 20 semi-trucks will be carrying equipment to the show! We will be displaying our exhibits on a floor space of 1,600 sqm, divided into 1,400 sqm plus a double-storey area of 200 sqm. This is a huge challenge because on one hand, we need to have booth staff available everywhere quickly, yet keep the floor space balanced and calm. We need to efficiently supply all visitors with the specific and tailored information required for their buying decisions," Thomas Breg pointed out.

 

The specially designed ideation room, which was already very successfully introduced at the interpack in 2014, has been taken even further. For many clients, it was already a launch pad for the development of new product concepts, but in 2017 we will have the presentation area right beside the inno lab so that visitors will have a place and also sufficient space to consider their individual product ideas.
