Do you know where the best place to be in February was? Well, the answer is ProSweets – the international supplier fair for the confectionery industry. The latest trends and ideas were gathered at one place!

 

This year´s ProSweets, took place at the Koelnmesse venue in Cologne, Germany, from February 1st to 4th. 328 exhibitors had the opportunity to meet and greet more than 17,000 visitors, a good portion of which visited our 220-m2-booth. The number of visitors was not the only great part of the fair – the International Sweets & Biscuit Fair (ISM) too was held at the same venue, where a large number of our customers had the possibility to present their latest products. This was a great way of bringing customers and suppliers to one spot!

 

All our business units were on site to present their machines:

  • Franz Haas Convenience Food: 2 baking tongs
  • Haas-Meincke : Wire-cutter 6100
  • Haas-Mondomix: Multi-piston Rotary Depositor MPRD
  • Franz Haas Wafer: Free-shape Cutter FF-AWDM (the Free-shape Cutter was shown in operation, producing wafers in various shapes that attracted many curious visitors)

Apart from seeing the standard machine presentation, visitors had the option of going through our “Ideation Tunnel” to discover different end-product ideas from all over the world. And, if they needed more ideas for their future developments, they could easily stop by at our Inno Lab, where our technologists were creating different recipes each day, ranging from Corn, Chickpea and Rice Wafers all the way to different dips such as Goat Cheese, Rosemary Mayo Olive and Cocktail sauce.
