Review exhibition BAKERY CHINA 2010

From the 12th to the 15th of May 2010, the BAKERY CHINA was held for the 13th time. The main exhibition issues were future packaging solutions, cooling technologies and machines for the bread production.

914 exhibitors showed their product portfolio on an area of 70,000 m2 in the new Shanghai International Expo Centre. The exhibition organizer registered about 65,000 visitors.

The BAKERY CHINA is the biggest exhibition for the bakery and confectionery industry in Asia. This was the decisive factor for the participation of the Haas group, which was represented by our local branch. Haas Food Machinery Shanghai managed a 90 m2 booth, where the following machines were displayed:

  • a wafer stick baking oven EWB-LIZARD 4G (without collecting table HHS)
  • a laboratory multi-purpose aeration system
  • and a manual wafer/waffle baking machine HZ-WA TURTLE


More than 100 companies visited our booth. Three quarters of these represented the bakery industry. The others were from the confectionery and raw material sectors. Our visitors came, among others, from all regions of China with most of them from East China, followed by those from South China.

Besides the general interest in Haas, we also noted interest in specific fields such as the production of wafer sticks, cake and bread products, and also in the application of continuous aeration systems.

The next BAKERY CHINA will be from 11th to 14th of May 2011.
