All kinds of snacks are produced on semi- or fully automatic production lines. After mixing, the tasty batter, which is flavored according to the customer’s needs, is poured onto individually engraved and formed baking plates to be baked into wafer sheets. Depending on the desired capacity, the gas-heated baking ovens are equipped with the necessary amount of baking plate pairs.
The hot wafer sheets are then cooled down to room temperature and transferred gently to the individual downstream equipment. Products are separated and optimally transferred for further seasoning. Desired flavors can be used in the form of special spice-powders or grains like e. g. sesame or nut pieces. Also, sweet snack variations with caramelized sugar are possible. Following this, the snacks are transferred to packaging where they can be either stacked or loosely put into flow packs.
